Kate paints a wide variety of subjects, and is particularly well known for her colorful, detailed paintings of old steam trains and the people who operate them. 

 

Her florals, evocative and full of color, are also much in demand. You’ll find everything from the nostalgia of your grandmother’s chrysanthemums to a calla lily’s fine elegance in Kate’s bouquets.  

 
What artist doesn’t at least dabble in landscapes? Come see the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, the California Wine Country and the Sierra Nevada through the eyes and heart of someone who truly loves the outdoors.

Figure painting is perhaps Kate’s greatest passion. As a child, she taught herself to draw by sketching the people pictured in magazines. She especially enjoys capturing children just being themselves.
